Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) -Intake-240 seats (1st Shift-120 seats, 2nd shift-120 seats)
       

The PGDM is a two years program and comprises of four semesters. In the first year students study common subjects. The program exposes the students from varied academic background such as Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Science, Pharmacy etc. to the fundamental concepts of management. The first year comprises of two semesters. In the first year the basics of management orients the students in areas of Communication Skills, Personality Development, Soft Skills, Public Speaking, People Development, Negotiations Skills, IT Skills, Laws, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Statistical and Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology, Marketing Skills, Selling Skills and Domestic and Global Environmental Studies. Along with subjects needed to sharpen conceptual knowledge and skills as a manager, students also undertake specialized inputs in their course specializations such as Marketing, Finance and HRM.

The structure is designed to help students understand the interdependence between functional areas and enable them to address challenges in the business contexts.
At the end of the first year, the students are required to undertake project work assignment in an organization. The project assignment is intended to give the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills in their selected areas of course specialization and also a stepping stone for their final career. The Project Work Assignment is of 60 days duration and a detailed report on the project has to be submitted to the director, ISBS at the start of the second year.
In the second year of the PGDM, students are offered specialization in Marketing, Finance and HRM. Students get ready to face global corporate career, with intensive study of subjects like Strategies for Modern Business, Control Systems, Global Perspectives in Business, Entrepreneurship Development and Ethics Development, as well as in-depth inputs in their course specializations of Marketing, Finance and HRM.

The PGDM-Mkt is a two years program and comprises of four semesters. Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (PGDM-IB) Two Years Full Time Program

PGDM-IB is an intensive course specifically designed for rewarding careers in global management. It offers the students an additional advantage of pursuing International Business curriculum in addition to the chosen specialisation in Marketing and Finance.

The program is well structured in four semesters wherein the first two semesters focus in creating an understanding of the cross functional linkages and detailed understanding of the International Business related nuances with the inclusion of subjects like International Economic Environment, Export-Import Management, International Trade Logistics, International Marketing & International Finance in the course curriculum. At the end of 1st year, the students are required to undertake project work assignment in an organization. This assignment provides the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills as well as get a first-hand experience of corporate functioning. The last two semesters bring in intensive specialization (Marketing / Finance) focused inputs aimed at equipping the students with the required skill and competencies in their chosen specialisation

IBEP Outline  

The International Business Exposure Program (IBEP) and the International Summer Internship provides brilliant source for trans-national environmental comparisons and exposure to Best Global Practices in Management both as indices and benchmark. Such exposure to global destinations of industrial and business prominence will provide international learning to the students about nuances of global business.
